Introducing elements of Virium’s architecture
The Miner
Central to Virium’s technology is the Miner, a sophisticated inverter with a powerful Li-ion battery pack designed to convert, manage, and supply energy from diverse sources such as wind, solar, and various generators.
Biogas Reactor
Wind and solar are foundational but unpredictable energy sources. Various types of reactors for biomass gasification add the missing stabilization element to the deck.
Generator with Heat Capture
A syngas generator equipped with heat capture system ensures that the thermal energy produced during electricity generation is not wasted.
Blockchain Integration
The mining unit is connected to blockchain for analytics and rewarding the operator with Virium tokens.
Only the Miner is required for Virium token mining. Otherwise, the architecture builds on industry standard interfaces. The operator can use generic components such as solar panels, windmills, generators, or gasifiers. However, Virium-designed and branded components optimize value, quality, compatibility, and user experience.

Biogas Reactor
Wind and solar are foundational but unpredictable clean energy sources. The biogas reactor for biomass gasification adds the missing stabilization element to the deck.
Generators
Virium architecture supports various kinds of generators. The main focus will be in generators that utilize biofuels and recycling-based combustible materials.
Heat Capture
The syngas reactor (a.k.a. gasifier) and generator can be equipped with a heat exchange system for capturing thermal energy produced in electricity generation.
Cooling
In many regions cooling is needed instead of heating. Captured heat can be converted into cooling using absorption chillers.
Internet connectivity
Virium Miner can work as a gateway to the internet. A satellite connection powered by Virium Miner can be shared with many users in otherwise secluded locations.
Blockchain
The mining unit is connected to blockchain for analytics and rewarding the operator with Virium tokens. The architecture will utilize multiple levels of blockchains, both L1 Ethereum Mainnet (L1), sidechains (L2), and specific-purpose private chains and networks.
Virium Products
Virium-designed and branded components will be developed and produced based on user feedback and direction provided by the DAO. These specific-purpose equipment will be crafted to optimize value, quality, compatibility, and user experience.
Open standards and interfaces
Only the Miner is required for Virium token mining. Otherwise, the architecture builds on industry standard interfaces. The operator can use generic components readily available on the market, such as solar panels, windmills, generators, or gasifiers.
